Q: What is Christian Counseling?
A: Christian Counseling involves bringing God into the helping process. Think about a 3-piece puzzle: therapist, God, and client working together to help client. CC includes using prayer, scripture, Christian readings, etc. to assist the client in the healing process.
Q: Do I have to be a Christian to receive counseling services?
A: Our therapists are here to help those in need of hope and healing.
Q: Does TCC accept insurance?
A: Yes, we accept most major insurances, including EAP, Medicaid and North Carolina Health Choice. We can contact your insurance company directly to obtain your benefit information. Please see our Counseling Rates & Insurance page.
Q: Do you partner with churches if my church want to help supplement my counseling fees?
A: Yes, we partner with churches. TCC is here as a help to pastors. Please have a church representative to contact us.
Q: Are there fees attached to counseling sessions, and what if I'm on a tight budget?
A: Our Counseling Services are affordable to everyone. Please contact our office for further information.
Q: How long do I have to wait for an appointment?
A: Generally, an appointment can be made within two week's time or possibly sooner.
Q: What if I need an evening appointment?
A: In addition to daytime appointments,Trinity Christian Counseling has counselors who accept evening appointments four days a week and have Saturday appts available also.
Q: How often and how long do we come for our appointments?
A: Generally, appointments are scheduled once a week for about an hour or a length of time determined by the client and therapist on an individual case-by-case basis. As progress is made, therapy sessions are extended to bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
Q: I have legal guardianship of children who need counseling. How do I go about this?
A: Make sure to bring the court order granting you guardianship and identification to your first appointment.
Q: What forms of payment can I use?
A: You may pay using cash, check, debit card, or credit card Discover™, VISA™, American Express and MasterCard™. We also accept FSA and HSA cards with a Visa or MasterCard logo.
